Method和approach有何不同？
請問，當我們在談科學測試時，method和approach若同時出現，兩者有何不同？又各該如何翻成中文？(有時會出現在標題哦。)
我知道method是「方法」，與methodology (方法論)略有不同。但approach又該如何翻呢？ 「方式」嗎？若是，那又和「方法」有何不同？我看有人將這裡的approach翻成 「途徑」，我覺得怪怪的。翻成 「作法」如何？
請各位前輩多幫忙了。

Method refers to a step by step description of tasks to be performed.
Approach is a general guideline on ways of performing a work. It does not identify all the steps involved. Instead it just indicates the direction to proceed in or ways of handling some major or important tasks.
With the above said, I would think, "method" means "有條理的方法"; "approach means "處理事情的一種方式, 途徑, 或態度" How to translate will depend upon the context.
