has anyone tried tanning pills?

Save your money! I tried them and they did not work. By the ad, the pills made you believe that you would tan without the sun..all the pills do is protect your skin as you tan. The ones I got were a combination of omega 3-6-9's from a health food store. Will a little colour added that claimed to colour your skin gradually..NOT! I returned the bottle for a partial refund

I believe some contain iodine which will give your skin a more tanned look after spending some time in the sun. I gues the work but I don't know how well (or for how long).

I've never tried them myself but my mom has tried them. They actually gave her skin a yellowish-brown color which did not look very healthy or natural. Might be better to go to the tanner.
