What happen if a court (judge) finds an individual guilty of a crime and sentences him to life in prison, and then someone jumps up in the court and confesses to the crime.

Is the person that was found guilty released and the new guy taken to prison, or how does that work?

I feel im the one who ALWAYS has to initiate conversation, or initiate a hangout. If I didn't I would basically be alone.

Do you think not doing any of those things, and waiting to see if anyone else does will show me who my true friends are, rather than just my acquaintances?

So I’m in college and im a dude. This girl is sending mixed signals all over the place. But, a small story,

Her, the girl I want to ask out, lets call her Sam. So Sam, myself and four others were eating and hanging out about 3 weeks and it came out that I have never had a girl friend, she said that was cute and patted me on the shoulder and all. So she follows me on twitter, favourites a post from a long while ago. Then in class she was sitting next to me the majority of the time, despite knowing everyone in the class very well. So, then one day she stops. Then 2 weeks late (now) she is starting to talk to me again. So today, her and I were sitting on a bus with our other friends and I ask a lady if she wants my seat on the bus instead of standing (just being a gentleman, it was obvious that I wasn’t hitting on her). Sam then tells me how that was nice, then starts telling me that “maybe this is the semester that you will find someone” and “it could be your semester”. I have no clue if she was talking about me dating her or what.

So I want to ask her to a cinema showing that is showing in our area in the UK at our school. The picture is done by our school, and it wont be open much longer. So do you think she’s interested or no? I can’t tell! Im sorry for being dumb with ladies..

The last time I worked out (continuously) was freshman year of high school. I just did my first REAL workout (freshman in college now) on monday (today is thursday). We did chest and triceps.. 5 sets of bench - 12 reps. My old max for bench was 120, so I did 45lbs - 12 reps. then 85 - 12 reps 95 - 8 reps (couldn't do all 12) then 100 - 3 reps (couldn't do all 12) then 1 rep of 110lbs (couldn't do more than that. Followed by 10 reps of 80lbs (just to feel good about myself and finish a full set). At the time, I could badly life my arms to push up my glasses because they were so dead.

Now its thursday and my chest is still killing me. It hurts if I lift my elbows and point them upwards.or if I spread my arms like a bird, of if I even touch my chest they begin to hurt.

Did I push myself too hard, or injure myself? I was with a guy who works out a whole lot and he said I had "good form". But is it normal to be this sore for this long?

Would you get mad, if a guy in college (who is very "strict" or strong in his morals) cancelled an event that you were invited to because of this.

So there are 7 people, 2 are girls, the rest are guys. They all live in dorms, except one who is a house by himself. You are in a christian college too. So the male host who lives in a house decides to have a movie night. Everyone will come over and watch a movie for a couple of hours, hang out etc. So one of the 2 girls realizes she can't go. So the guy now cancels the movie night because he doesn't like the idea of 5 guys and just one girl.

Would you be mad at the guy, or would you understand why he canceled it? No, it is not because he liked the other girl and when she could come, he canceled. The host does not like either girl in an attraction manner.

I can never remember how to split them in to 2 equations.

2x^2 − 7x − 4

so I take A*C to get -8. Then find what adds to get -7, but multiples to get -8. I found that -1 and 8 do this... So I replace -7x with... -1 and 8

2x^2-1x+8x-4

Then I look, and I try and do Factor By Grouping...

x(2x-1)+4(2x-1)

I take out an X from 2x^2-1x, and am left with 2x-1. Then I take out a 4 from 8x-4 and am left with 2x-1. Right?

So my final answer is

(2x-1)(x+4)

because you leave whats in the () and combine the two outside the ()... since it is a positive 4, it should be +4..

But when I ever I enter it into my online assignment, it says I am wrong. It says the answer should be..

(2x+1)(x-4)

I do not know why the signs are switched. Can anyone help?! I have made sure the problem is written correctly and it is. I don't know why my signs are wrong on every problem!

Im moving in a few months and, as time comes closer, I really realize that everything is going to change...I think about I will move, but it seems like I will never get there. Let me first start out by saying I know nothing about cars...at all. I am looking to spend a maximum of $18,000...Hopefully more around the $15,000 price range. I have owned one Jeep vehicle for a few years, I liked it a lot. I have also driven a smaller car multiple times.

I prefer an SUV, but maybe a nicer car for the price will beat out an SUV.

Like I said, I know basically nothing about cars/vehicles and am just looking for a general idea for what to look for.
