This situation is not alone with Apple Daily. Many paper media are facing the same problem. It is due to:
1. Technology advancement
People nowadays rely on electronic appliances, such as computers, mobile phones, tablets, etc. to access news. This significantly impact the number of newspaper purchase.
2. Advertisement costs
It costs to advertise with newspaper. Online advertising costs are way lower and lasts longer. Hence, this reduces revenues.
