The man in her kitchen says: "Not all habit/routine are bad." Then the man asked:"What is that you're cutting?" The woman says: "apple." The man could be Kevin Bacon or Ethan Hawke that kind of old actors who are active between 1995-2004.It is a thriller or detective movie but definitely not a comedy.
