My computer seem to have been isolated from Microsoft.com site.?
Is anyone out there experiencing this problem? I can't access microsoft.com site from all my browsers, nor can I ping microsoft.com.
Although I can ping and browse other sites OK. I checked the restricted
site list does not contain microsoft.com. Any suggestion?

Have you been trying to get to "microsoft.com" or "www.microsoft.com" in your browser? The right address is "www.microsoft.com" although you apparently can't ping that URL.

I don't know if you have vista or not but on XP, click on start, then control panel. Then press Security Center and click on windows firewall under "Manage Security Settings For:"
You should be able to find a list of sites that your IP blocked from there. Just take it off the list.

Some sites will not let you on if your computer is infected...try to go to this site...and if you can't then your computer is highly infected >>>> Symantec

when the conflicker virus came out a couple months ago, they said on the news you have the virus if you can not get on Microsoft's website. i have att and they got it off my computer from their helpline.
