Whats the best route to drive from LA to Death Valley NP, and then to Las Vegas?

There is not a ton of entrances to get to Death Valley, and really only two ways if you are coming from the south. You can go up 178 to 190 and go in from the west, or you can take 127 to 190 and go in from the east. I've driven both ways, and the roads are in good shape. The western side has more civilization, hence more gas stations, food, etc. But the eastern route is easier to follow. The best scenery is going to be inside the park. Death Valley is unbealivably beautiful. However, each route offers a unique different perspective. My advice would be to enter from 178 catch 190 and when you are leaving, take 190 out the other side and continue to Las Vegas. At the Western entrance is a bunch of Joshua Trees and the mountains are beautiful. There are lots of places where you can take pictures. The Eastern entrance offers plenty of unique veiw of its own. I can't really say one is better than the other because they are both so unique and beautiful in their own way. Be sure to take a day just to drive a round the park and look at all the interesting features, it really is an amazing park.

las vegas is awesome ive been there you will love it ( espicially if you gamble) but have a great trip!
