He was a nut job. He couldn't understand the God of the Jews and Christians because he took care of idols. So he gets curios learns a little about the 2 religions and then makes up a bunch of new stuff to fit what he bielieved. Then he gains a few followers and gets kicked outta Mecca. Next thing you know he finds out he can controll people with this new religon so he builds an army and takes over Mecca. As time goes on he fiddles with the new religon and changes things so he can marry whoever and do what ever he wants. The Koran was not written by Mohamed because he could not write. However his scribes did write things down on paper, bones or whatever was on hand. The koran as a whole was not written until a few decades after his death.
If you study what was written about him you will see the dude had mental problems. But of course Muslims are forbidden to study about Mohamed and his history.
P.S. Sinthyia is the nicest person I know. people give her points!

MOHAMMED
Did Mohammed teach Jesus is the Christ?
Did Mohammed teach the Father and the Son are One?
I John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
The word “anti” in Greek means “instead of”, or instead of Christ.
If no is the answer, then Mohammed is a liar, a instead of Christ.
II John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
A false prophet, a instead of Christ.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Muhammad (PBUH) changed the world. He is the last prophet and messenger. His message is for all human beings anywhere anytime.
"The Qur'an asserts that every community is sent its prophets, and that all of these prophets share the same essential message. Some are mentioned by name in the Qur'an, many of whom are figures found in the Hebrew Scriptures, including Adam, Job, David, Elijah, Jonah, Jacob, Joseph, Lot and Moses, among others. The New Testament figures including Jesus, Mary, John the Baptist, and John the Baptist's father, Zechariah, are often mentioned too. One of the Qur'an's chapters is titled Mary. Finally, certain pre-Islamic Arabian prophets appear too. Thus, although there are many shared themes and stories, there are many other aspects that are unique to the Qur'an.
Muhammad viewed his mission as a continuation of the religious careers of these earlier people. From the beginning, he closely identified his message with the Jewish and Christian traditions. In difficult times, he often drew strength from their example. During the period of fierce persecution against the Muslims, for example, he would remind his beleaguered followers of the patience and forbearance shown by Moses and the Jews when they were persecuted in Egypt. And, according to Muslim tradition, it was the Qur'anic references to Mary and the birth of Jesus that convinced the Christian king of nearby Axum (present day Ethiopia) to grant asylum to Muslim refugees fleeing Meccan persecution.
Muslim sources cite other individual Christians and Jews who played important roles in Muhammad's life, including his wife's cousin, Waraqa, a Christian ascetic who first observed that Muhammad's experiences of revelation resembled Moses' encounters with the Divine. This parallel reassured Muhammad at a time when he feared he might be possessed.
The Qur'an refers to Christians and Jews as "People of the Book" and calls on Muslims to respect them. In more than one Qur'anic passage, Christian and Jewish believers are specifically mentioned as having God's favor:
Be they Muslims, Jews, Christians, or Sabaeans,
Those who believe in God and the Last Day
And who do well
Have their reward with their Lord.
They have nothing to fear,
And they will not sorrow. (Qur'an: 2:62 and 5:69)"
And as an answer for what "Rev. Kip" had say, we Muslims don't forbid to study about Mohamed (PBUH) and his history.
Islam encourages this behavior, because he was the most perfect man on earth, he is our role model and we have nothing to be ashamed of.

I feel that prophets are humans who experienced God within themselves and also realised that everything else is God too. They realised that the other persons are just sleeping and need to be awakened.
Even today there are people who are awakened just like these prophets.
All prophets deserve equal love and respect.
Whatever they say would then help other humans to be liberated from being a mere human.
To recognise a prophet is easy. Their words liberate and don't put fear in anyones hearts.

He is the last prophet of God and Quran was revealed through him. He was sent as a mercy to all world.
"And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. " Quran 21:107.
As all prophets, he warned regarding the final judgment that everybody has to face.
"And We have not sent you but to all the men as a bearer of good news and as a warner, but most men do not know." Quran 34: 28.

What do ~ I ~ think of Prophet Muhammad? Someone came up to him one day and asked this question: "How do I please God?" Muhammad answered: "Do that which is right." The other person replied: "How do I know whats right?" Muhammad said: "When you think about doing a thing, if thinking about doing it bothers you then don't do that." An honest heart, the best way to please, connect with, and know God. Sounds like a pretty cool guy to me. But, everyone has a right to think what they will. They will anyway.
